As a kid, eating candy was synonymous with childhood. Going to the corner store on my white BMX bike with the black chain guard with my cousins on Sunday evening was almost a ritual that we never seemed to want to miss.
The main thing that we would always go to get is, you guessed it, candy. And the apple flavored candy such as Jolly Ranchers and Charms blow pops were my absolute favorite. In fact, those two probably accounted for 90% of my adolescent diet. I kid, but I absolutely could not get enough of them.
Today, apple flavored candy comes in so many styles, textures, flavors, and forms that cater to several different tastes and preferences from people around the world. Its popularity does not tend to show a sense of decline and probably never will.
My goal is to put together a list of different apple flavored candies from around the world. The 28 candies that I currently listed below are typically the most popular or “known” candies in this category that I either have a strong affection for, or I have found that other people love them with an intense fever.
