In addition to the camera, you need to connect it to a base station. One Wyze Cam Outdoor comes bundled with a base station and costs $49.99. You can add up to 4 cameras per base station at this time (and maybe more in the future).

It’s easy to mount and move around, is IP65 weather-resistant, and comes with 1080P live streaming capabilities and recording. PIR motion detection is included to capture people and animals. It captures 12-second motion activated videos and will be saved to the cloud for 14 days without having to sign up for a subscription. There are “several” other features for the Wyze Cam Outdoor but one of the most impressive is the ability to record “Offline” videos. If you’re traveling or just out and about, you can connect to your phone for access and record locally to a MicroSD card without the use of the base station.
